This was a full contract project for Water.org’s Annual Report and it was just me from concept through final delivery, creating a 75-page digital publication that balanced data, storytelling, and human impact.
The report was approached as both an informational document and a storytelling piece. I hand-selected photography that reflected the lived experiences behind the data, and created custom hand-drawn patterns and illustrations inspired by the regions and cultures Water.org serves. These visual elements were intentionally woven throughout the report to add warmth, humanity, and cultural context to the content.
In addition to the overall layout and visual system, I designed a full suite of hand-illustrated infographics, charts, maps, and data visualizations, translating complex information into clear, engaging, and accessible visuals. Every element—from typography to color to illustration—was thoughtfully considered to support readability while reinforcing Water.org’s mission and impact.
This project showcases my ability to lead large-scale editorial design projects, balance data with storytelling, and create visually cohesive documents that communicate purpose, transparency, and long-term impact.
