A social concept created for a National Doughnut Day pitch for Voodoo Doughnut, celebrating one of the brand’s most iconic offerings: My Captain, Oh Captain—a glazed doughnut topped with Captain Crunch cereal.
The concept centered on a food-styled typographic treatment, with the entire headline constructed entirely from pieces of Captain Crunch. By turning the product itself into the message, the design leaned into Voodoo’s playful, irreverent personality while creating a visually bold, scroll-stopping moment.
The final asset was designed for use across all social channels, combining texture, color, and typography to celebrate the holiday in a way that felt unexpected and distinctly Voodoo.
