My digital collage work is rooted in a lifelong love of found materials and visual history. That interest began at an early age and evolved into years of collecting vintage paper ephemera—from estate sales, flea markets, and libraries—where I scanned old documents, book pages, and printed materials to preserve and reuse within my illustrations.
Each piece is built by carefully digitally cutting and layering these scanned elements, allowing textures, typography, and imperfections from the past to coexist in a modern composition. I’m drawn to the idea that every fragment carries its own story, and that history becomes embedded in the final artwork—making each illustration feel rich, tactile, and one-of-a-kind.
This process-driven approach results in designs that feel nostalgic yet contemporary, blending intentional composition with organic discovery. My collage illustrations celebrate storytelling through material, honoring the past while creating something entirely new.
